Program Manager | Design Strategy & Cross-Functional Leadership

Bilingual · English & Spanish

This portfolio captures a non-linear creative journey across 10+ years in traditional architecture, enterprise design leadership, and an evolving practice in branding, UX/UI, and AI-enabled design.

What you'll find here isn't a single discipline. It's the intersection of spatial thinking, brand strategy, and digital experience. Each section represents a distinct area of practice: the rigor of architecture, the intention behind brand identity, and the craft of web design.

Built entirely with Claude Code as part of my exploration into AI-assisted design workflows.

Senior design and program leader with experience translating ambiguous business, operational, and frontline needs into scalable workflows, future-state concepts, and execution plans.

My path has moved across architecture studios, enterprise program leadership at Target HQ, formal UX/UI training through Thinkful, and hands-on exploration with emerging tools like Figma, Framer, Lovable, and Claude Code.

I bring together two seemingly different worlds: the precision of architectural thinking and the human-centered focus of digital design, and apply both to whatever problem is in front of me.

Proven ability to lead complex portfolios, align cross-functional stakeholders, operationalize change, and drive adoption in design-led and field-facing organizations.

The concept for the Transportation Hub was to create an urban space that provides connectivity to the rest of the city and beyond. Through the use of layering, and framing views, we achieve an unmatched experience that blends the urban scape into our building to become one.

The Transportation Hub becomes a gateway from Dix Park and serves as a space for gathering, recreation and entertainment. Connecting NC State's Campus with downtown, and the triangle area, becoming an icon for Raleigh. The flowing ramps in its massing allow for people to circulate easily throughout the building's exterior. The wolf-cycle extends into the hub, welcoming cyclists to partake in activities.

SYSTEMS

Systems overview

The Hub strives to become a 21st-century eco-friendly and car-free urban space that encourages its citizens and visitors to be proactive. Through the use of green roofs, as well as photovoltaic technology, the Hub is able to minimize its energy usage. With the intent to minimize Carbon emissions on-site, The Transportation Hub offers both car and bike share programs allowing for everyone to have alternative ways of transportation.

SECTIONS

Section 1 Section 2

Whether it is bowling, dining, playing at splash pad, or using bike-share to ride around the urban scape, our design aims to engage and invite the public. The Hub also serves visitors, with a boutique hotel where visiting faculty, lecturers, parents, or prospective students can enjoy all amenities while being just steps away from the North Carolina State Main Campus and the city of Raleigh.

THE PROBLEM

A small business with no online presence, losing out on commercial bids and relying entirely on word-of-mouth to grow.

  • No website or digital footprint, making it difficult to compete when bidding for commercial janitorial contracts
  • No way for potential clients to see the full breadth of services offered or request quotes online
  • Growth was limited to referrals with no system to attract new commercial clients at scale

WHAT WE DID

1

Online Presence

Built a professional website that positions the business as credible and capable when bidding for larger commercial jobs

2

Free Quote System

Created a quote request feature so potential clients can easily get estimates without needing to call

3

Services Showcase

Designed a clear breakdown of all services offered, showing the full breadth of the company's capabilities to commercial clients

THE PROBLEM

A growing business held together by phone calls, with no digital presence, no scheduling system, and no team visibility.

  • Every client called the owner directly to schedule jobs, creating a bottleneck and forcing him to juggle operations, sales, and scheduling all at once
  • No online presence. The business successfully operated from word-of-mouth, but as the owner wanted to expand there was no way for new clients to find or evaluate services
  • No system in place for employees to have visibility into what was getting scheduled. The only way the team knew about upcoming jobs was the owner telling everyone individually

WHAT WE DID

01

Web Experience

Created a full web experience where clients can explore all services provided along with estimated pricing, positioning the brand as premium in the private aviation space

02

Booking + Calendar Integration

Built a booking feature that communicates directly with Google Calendar, allowing jobs to be scheduled and visible across the entire team in real time

03

Client Management + Approvals

Simplified the approval process so the owner can communicate with clients and approve jobs from one place. Built a database that saves client names, phone numbers, airport base, and tail numbers

BOOKING EXPERIENCE

Step 1 Select Service
Step 2 Date & Time
Step 3 Your Details
Step 4 Confirmation

In private aviation, things move fast. The owner needed full visibility into every booking and the ability to approve jobs before they hit the calendar. We built the back end so that every request flows through an approval step, giving the owner control over scheduling while keeping coordination seamless for the team on the ground.

IMPACT

100%

Team Visibility

From zero scheduling visibility to real-time access across all team members via Google Calendar integration

85%

Time Saved on Scheduling

Reduced scheduling from hours of back-and-forth phone calls to minutes through automated online booking

24/7

Booking Availability

Clients can now browse services, view pricing, and request bookings anytime without needing to call during business hours

Creating Synergies Between Nature + The Built Environment

Our site is located on the former Alameda Naval Base, a peninsula with panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline. Alameda is warm with mediterranean like climate making for a great retreat from the winds that line the pacific boundary of the Bay Area. Prior to the development of the Naval Base, Alameda was populated by lush forests and natural marsh lands. The aim of the master plan in Alameda Point is to create a better synergy between nature and the built environment.

The idea behind our tower and the master plan of our city aims to celebrate the cultural and natural vibrancy of the Bay Area, while highlighting its original people, The Ohlone natives. Our tower is inspired by the tule, a plant native to freshwater marshes; it has a thick rounded green stem, growing 3 to 10 ft tall, with long grass like leaves. The tule is a major element in the Ohlone culture, it allowed them to build boats to travel, and weave baskets to carry goods and water. We took inspiration from the tule's structural strength, wind resisting forces, and flexibility to develop the structural design for our 1,800 ft tall tower.

The island of Madagascar hosts some of the most unique ecosystems on the planet, with over 90% of the native plants and animals being found nowhere else in the world. Threats including deforestation have put these ecosystems at risk. There is a convergence of diversity, a natural paradise that everyone should be able to enjoy, and our airport is designed to protect, preserve, and share the rich wildlife of Madagascar with the world.

AWARDECC Best Architecture University Award 2018

Venice Biennale Exhibitor for the Airport Architecture Studio in collaboration with Fentress Architects, a world renown architectural firm that specializes in Airport Design. The exhibition was titled 'Future Airports: Global Design Thinking.' This has been a major highlight of my school career, giving my teammates and I the opportunity to exhibit our work at a world class Architecture event. This experience allowed me to learn and investigate the intricacies of the built environment in the modern world, and how to deal with the cultural print architecture leaves behind.

THE PROCESS

Setting up the exhibition Building the model

Upon our arrival in Venice, Italy we began setting up for our Architecture Biennale Exhibition at Palazzo Bembo. Over the course of two days we finalized building our model which proved to be challenging due to the nature of the beast...lack of materials in Venice, pieces of our model breaking unexpectedly, etc. The process proved to be testing, but through the camaraderie of our studio mates we all were able to exceed our expectations in exhibiting our work at one of the biggest Architecture events held every two years by maintaining each other accountable, and most importantly keeping each other calm, cool and collected.

We had multiple interviews throughout the process, and met with some of the greatest architects of our time.
